Mantra Music

Ancient chants, warm acoustic guitar, gong and Tibetan brass sound bowls. Music for opening the heart and quieting the mind.

FROM THE SET LIST

What we’ll sing together

These gatherings draw on mantras that have carried people for centuries. There’s Om Mani Padme Hum, the Tibetan chant of compassion, and Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu, a simple prayer that all beings everywhere be happy and free. There are songs to Saraswati, goddess of music and wisdom, and the joyful Maha Mantra. There’s So Much Magnificence, drawn from the words of the poet Kabir, who lived over 500 years ago. And so many more.

The words are simple and repeated, so there’s nothing to learn and no wrong way to join. Sing, hum, or simply listen and let the sound carry you.

“For twenty years, mantra music is what calmed my nervous system. I listened to it every day but never played it, until now. Sharing these songs has opened a beautiful space to grow and blossom, and I want everyone in the room to feel it too.”
